2014: A Year of Action on HFCs

Climate change is manifesting itself in ever more alarming ways. Devastating bush fires, historic droughts, and recurrent flooding are wreaking havoc on the lives and livelihoods of people around the world. The impacts are most severe in developing countries, where communities already on the brink face a crisis of existential proportions. 2014 is the year to turn commitments into real action. EIA calls on the Parties to the Montreal Protocol to begin substantive negotiations to address HFCs and make 2014 a year of climate action.
