In response to a Consent Decree Costco signed with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Justice concerning violations to the Clean Air Act, EIA sent a letter to Costco calling on the giant retailer to commit to environmental stewardship, become a climate leader, and install climate friendly refrigeration in all new stores.
