This ad, which will be aired on television stations in the Caribbean starting in May 2007, conveys the vital role that Caribbean countries, including Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, play in the plight of the world's whales. The governments of these countries have voted with Japan, in the International Whaling Commission, to overturn the global ban on commercial whaling. If Japan gets its way, the world's whale populations will face their greatest danger in decades.
