Wildlife Policy Analyst, Taylor Tench, gives an update on EIA's wildlife priorities on Day 1 of CITES Cop18.

The IPBES Global Biodiversity Assessment is a call to action to prevent mass species loss. Wildlife Team Lead Danielle Grabiel of EIA, Senior Attorney Tanya Sanerib of the Center for Biodiversity, and Director of International Wildlife Conservation Zak Smith of NRDC, discuss the response to the report at the 18th meeting of the CITES Conference of the Parties, and whether CITES will come with the bold, game-changing, precautionary ideas that are required.
